Kelab Sukan Olahraga Gasing Rangers (KSOGR)
Kelab Sukan Olahraga Gasing Rangers (KSOGR) is a sports club officially registered under the Sports Commission of Malaysia (Pesuruhjaya Sukan Malaysia) in 2013. The idea to establish KSOGR was initiated by Mr. Chakravarthy Gopal, whose vision laid the foundation for a structured and progressive sports community.
Before its formal registration 2011-2012, KSOGR began as a small informal group of approximately 10 individuals who met regularly to participate in hiking and various sporting activities. Driven by strong passion, innovation, and camaraderie, the group steadily expanded in both size and scope.
With the dedicated efforts of Balasundram Ulagan @ Chandran, the Club Secretary, all necessary arrangements were completed to formalize the club’s registration. Since then, KSOGR has continued to grow while upholding discipline, strong values, and well-defined rules and regulations.And We must not forget Ms. Santana, whose unwavering support and dedication were instrumental in shaping and refining the club’s documentation. She worked closely with me, offering valuable support and putting in tremendous effort to ensure all paperwork was properly structured and completed, right through to the handover to the elected committee. Her commitment and contributions are deeply appreciated and truly commendable. ”The commitment and contributions of the founder and pioneering members have been instrumental in shaping KSOGR into a respected and active sports organization.

Reasons to Choose
Extreme Sports
In 2019, the Badminton activity started with the assistance from the President of Selangor Badminton Association and he has made KSORGR an affiliate member of SBA. Badminton activity actually attracted new members to join the club. A low subscription did not deter us from organizing outdoor activities through which we were able to generate funds for the club. Our target in build a club house and towards this we are slowly making efforts through programs that can generate some income which we can use as an initial downpayment for the club house. Over the years, our club advisors, members and supporters have donated generously to finance our club activities. By keeping our expenditures to the minimum, we have slowly built our club fund. During these 10 years, we have organized many hiking activities locally and overseas. Some of the overseas hiking activities were collaborated with the local partners in that country. The utmost task is to recruit more members especially youngsters and active members who will take part in sports activities organized both locally and internationally. We plan to organize regular training programs to encourage and give full support to our members to scale higher peaks around the world
